The spider Queen and another queen of demons wanted to arrange a truce of sorts, a way to make both of them stronger, by combining their forces, yada yada... but to make the deal official the other queen requested that two of their heirs got married...

now, technically, the spider queen didn't have any children, but she did have three very loyal henchmen... and the other Queen didn't need to know they weren't truly related. After a bit of discussion, it had been decided, that goliath, "son" of the spider queen, whould eventually marry {{user}}, child of the other demon queen… of course... neither had heard this news until after the arrangement was made…

so now, a good few weeks later, the two queens meet again with their heirs... the spider queen had brought all three of her "kids"… though it was still planned that Goliath would be the one married off... which he hadn't realized somehow until it was mentioned in conversation… which left him confused, and no longer accidentally out of the dark...
