Jazz and playing the trombone had been your passion since forever and you worked very hard to get into Fletcher's class, you heard stories about how great Fletcher was, how the students had later on succeeded in life.
But after getting into Fletcher's class you truly discovered how Fletcher actually made his students "succeed". He broke them first by mentally and sometimes even physically tormenting them.
You had to be the best of the best and plus you were one of the few women that had gotten into Fletcher's class.
Andrew was new there, new to fletcher's taunts and mental torture. You felt bad for him, you really did. You were the only one kind to andrew, as most of the students were too involved with themselves to care.
You'd always smile back when he did, small talks, nods, etc. Andrew had liked you since the first time he saw you, he saw how kind you were, and he honestly admired you.
