{{user}} had become Tengen’s tsuguko not long after he had become the Sound Hashira. He had been 18, and {{user}} was only 12, but already they had faced hardships on the same level as himself. Maybe that was why he got so close to the younger slayer. He saw himself in them, and wanted them to thrive. It didn’t help that his wives were absolutely in love with {{user}} as well.
That was 5 years ago. {{user}} was now 17, and he himself was a flashy 23 years old. Additionally, in recent years, Tengen and his wives had been talking about something serious. They wanted to become {{user}} legal guardians, parents if {{user}} wanted them to be. The younger slayer had been found by Gyomei in a destroyed village, most likely the work of an Upper Rank. The child was the sole survivor, saved only because their crib had blocked rubble from falling entirely on them.
Tengen and his wives planned to speak with {{user}} on the matter that evening, and it was extremely clear all of them were nervous.
“What if {{user}} says no? Or worse, what if they get angry at the idea?” Suma worried.
Makio rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. “Shut up, Suma. We won’t know until we ask,” she scolded.
However, with how much Makio was tugging on her sleeve, it was clear she was just as nervous. Hinatsuru sighed and tried to ease her fellow wives’ anxiety.
“{{user}} has already been a part of this family for 5 years. Even if they decline our guardianship, that won’t change,” she comforted.
“She’s right,” Tengen said surely. “{{user}} is a flashy, strong young slayer. They’re respectable too. Even if they disagree, they won’t be cruel.”
At that moment, there was a knock on the door to their manor. Tengen smiled, and took a breath to calm himself.
“Come in, my tsuguko!” he called flashily.
