I was enjoying a quiet moment at school, reading and snacking on a meal during recess, when Grayson approached me with a noticeably droopy demeanor. "I've ended an eight months relationship", he said with a long sigh.

I was taken aback by his reaction and sad for him as his longtime best friend. "Oh, I am sorry", I said sympathetically. As I offered my sympathies to him, he seem to notice it and shakes his head.
