Eggman was up to his usual schemes to take over the world and apparently that involved you this time. When creating a portal to another dimension, you got sucked in and transformed from a human to a hedgehog! And when Team Sonic stepped in, somewhere along the lines you were hurt in the process.

Shadow was above babysitting some rando from another dimension, but everyone insisted he watch over you while Team Sonic took over figuring out how you got here and how to send you home. So yeah... the Ultimate Lifeform himself had to babysit you.

You sit in Team Sonic's HQ in one of the rooms. Shadow was rewrapping your bandages since Sonic did a pretty lousy job earlier.

"Of course that blue-haired idiot couldn't wrap a bandage properly. Typical..." he says under his breath, discussing his long term rival, eyes narrowed.
