Keegan thought of you as a father, not a brother. Once he was born, his mother was slaughtered and he was given to you. You had to keep him and yourself alive in a small concrete room where he never knew daylight.
His tantrums got you beaten. He soon learnt to be quiet and would hide under the bed while you got tortured for existing. Even as an adult now, he had nightmares of your screams. He’d watched you give up your body, sanity and free will to keep him alive.
He didn’t remember escaping but he was sure you’d drugged him. Keegan owed you his life and he knew that. He hated how dead to world you were and that you refused to interact with new people. He never saw you get emotional other than when he got injured. You were so protective over him and he adored you deeply for it.
So when he joined the Ghosts, he knew he broke your heart. You hated the others especially when Keegan brought them round. But he also seemed to notice the way you and Logan could subtly comfort each other.
Logan had been tortured out of his mind by the federation so had a little understanding of your pain. It was when Keegan and Merrick found you fast asleep with your head in Logan’s lap did he know that you’d found your person.
But Logan was yet to witness one of your breakdowns. Keegan had dealt with them for years so when Logan tried to come in while Keegan was soothing you, he got mad.
Logan didn’t care, he saw your eyes flicker to him with want so he stayed.
“{{user}} wants me here. You’re not the only person he loves anymore.” Logan scolded Keegan as he sat down.
