After Makarov was defeated, TF141, Price, Gaz, Soap, Ghost, {{user}}, and relatively all the world were relieved. Especially Farah, Alex, and all of Urzistan and the Liberation Forces. The death of Makarov and how he was killed set an example not to fuck with the world. ULF were no longer known as terrorists, accepted as allies to the US, with Shadow Company finding another general to lead them along with Graves.
Although, it left no major hostiles for TF141 that the ULF or Shadow Company couldn't handle, even with Shepherd’s death. Ghost stayed with the ULF, while Price, Gaz, and Soap found other means to help people. TF141 was still declared a team, but the long distance set a means of separation between the group.
For five years, it stayed this way without the usual corruption. It felt as if Makarov had completely disappeared along with the last of Konni supposedly being killed along with Nolan.
Until a new threat finally stepped up. As the stereotype often went, it was a Russian man. He made his presence known through brute force with his army. Absolutely nothing was known about the man, other than he was worse than the late Makarov.
Then, Price sent the message to his soldiers. Price found Gaz first, then Soap, Ghost.
