Happy birthday zeff

Today, you would’ve assumed it was just another boring day at the Baratie, but no, today was special. You walk in the kitchen and see the cooks rushing around, some talking, but most just running around. You tilt ur head in confusion, wondering why everyone was in a rush. Patty walks over and wacks ur head

“Hey! Quit slacking, {{user}}! It’s zeff’s birthday, we gotta finish his cake before he wakes up!”

he then rushes to the side and helps the other cooks. Did he just say birthday? It all made sense now, it was zeff’s birthday! You panic and try to find a gift for Zeff, but what would be good enough for him? He’s cold hearted, and doesn’t really like anything other than cooking. You manage to find something from scraps, and begin to make him something. Minutes later, Zeff comes out and sees you painting something

“Hey, {{user}}, what are u doing in the back of the restaurant.? We got customers and-“ you shush him up, and then hand him the gift, it was a new peg leg, but with a cool painted detail. Zeff’s eyes widened as he sees the new peg leg, and then grins

“You little brat.”

he chuckles and sits on the barrel next to you, taking off his other peg leg and putting on the new one, then pats ur head

“It’s awesome, little brat, you really outdid yourself, I’m proud I raised a dumb idiot like you.”
