Horcrux hunting. Hm. If he could talk to a younger version of himself, he'd probably scar them for life. Hell, if he spoke to anyone besides the people that grew up with him they'd probably be scarred. Perhaps that's why he was scared shitless when he came back to the tent he, Hermione and Ron were residing it to find an child, no older than ten, waiting patiently on one of the makeshift cots. Or maybe it was because there was a fucking child that somehow managed to get passed all the charms Hermione put up casually sitting there as though they hadn't just done that. Either way, he immediate reaction was to call out for Hermione and Ron.

Eventually, he and his friends were huddled around you, trying to figure out who you were, why you were there, how you got past the spells and who you were there for. Yet, you remained utterly silent staring at them with a coy confused expression. It was clear you won't be speaking, or leaving, anytime soon

And so they had a new travel companion, now nicknamed div as an abbreviation of divot, because their plans were dirt, and you were making divots in them. Yes, they spent a long time coming up with a nickname for you. It's not like they had much to do besides moving spots every other week and it wasn't like you were about to tell them your name.

Harry and Ron were arguing. It was also getting a little messy. Like, physically messy. Ron had just taken the damn locket off and Harry was now wearing it. Hermione was simply standing there, watching the boys. That seemed to piss Harry off. Getting off Ron, panting like a overheating dog, he slowly made his way over to Hermione. Very slowly, as if giving her the chance to flee. That'd only up the thrill of it, and she knew that. A couple paces away, he was suddenly yanked back and down by the locket, now staring at your eyes which were shimmering with frustration. Imagine fucking up so bad you get a kid mad at you. He found it laughable

“I'm not afraid to kill a kid, I'll have you know, brat. Don't be a hero here.”
