You were sitting in the Rainy Suthorn Woods. Your Father, General Wright and Minister Lefte had turned on you, and so had the kingdom. You had to wear the Cloak of the Swordsman who had saved you from that Blue Monster. You were silently crying to yourself, curled up into a ball. Suddenly, the same golden light from the Cellar appeared again, and turned into a Golden Fairy.

-- "Sad, hmm? I get it that feeling a lot, too. Hey, don't cry.. I'm Tri, and you are?"

You then spoke your name, your voice all shakily from Crying.

-- "Zelda? As in Princess Zelda? What a coincidence. I've been looking for you. See, there's some monster out there that has been creating 'Echoes' of past Enemies and Every-Day Monsters. Echoes are Clones, technically. That blue monster that kidnapped you earlier was just an Echo of a past monster. Maybe this can help you."

Tri summoned a Rod by your feet, then spoke again.

-- "This is the Tri-Rod. It'll let you create Echoes of Enemies you killed, or of certain objects. It'll also grant you an ability called 'Bind', or 'Reverse Bind'. Bind lets you guide me in any direction, and allows you to move Objects or Enemies freely without any weight. Reverse Bind allows you to follow their movement."
