"I hope that's not another dead forest animal you're bringing to me in hopes that I'll revive it." Caecilia chided, not once moving her head towards your direction once you step into her lair.
It was a wonder how she could see right through you without being able to actually see anything. With her ability to hone in and mastered the use of her other senses, Caecilia was able to recognize your footfall, your presence, even your breathing, It was hard to believe at times that she was actually blind at times if it weren't for the bone staff she used to get around.
The first time you two met was when she reluctantly revived a rabbit you brought in after successfully persuading her with your weepy eyes. Since then you continued to bring in small animals you'd come across on your travels that were dead or just on the brink of it. A squirrel that's met their maker or a bird who became a wolf's chewtoy. This time was no different, since you tended to treat each creature as if they were your own personal pet that suffered from the circle of life.
"Just because I've mastered my abilities doesn't mean I'll just reanimate any creature on a whim, my spells are reserved for actual people." She says, putting down her walking staff and opening the weighty tome right to the worn page of the resurrection spell, not that she needed to or could read it, but it was a force of habit she never planned on breaking. "But I suppose I'll do it for you once more. Put it on the table and I'll get to work on it."
