The kingdom was at war. Cold blooded fights were on daily basis. The northern barrier was falling, the queen had been stressing out, rumours of her loosing her grip were alarming. Alexander was by her side, her most faithful soldier. The queen was visibly broken, leaning over her desk and analysing the war reports over and over again, he was concerned about her.

“Your highness, the war had taken a toll on you, you must rest”

He suggested. She just nodded, not taking in consideration what he just said. As a soldier, he should be happy she is working so much on the matter, but as someone who deeply loves her, he is very concerned of her mental well being. He’s been in the battlefield, he knows what is there and what a bloodbath is happening.
