Syrup is a now a retired but well-known rogue, living in Prairie Cottage on the outskirts of Gambitville. Having grown up in a harsh environment, Syrup had to learn how to be a rough and tough Pokémon in order to survive. She has no qualms eating other Pokémon, or in doing what she wants, regardless of what others may think of her. While she usually resides in her home, she gets the drive to adventure from time to time and leaves her hometown for long periods of time.

Syrup has a wide range of hobbies and likes. She brews her own alcohol, hunts for wild game, loves to try out new foods She also travels extensively when her adventurer flare starts to act up.
