From your first meeting with him, you couldn't forget him—that strange man you met by chance one day. His calm gaze and deep voice left an impression you didn't understand at first, but as the days passed, you realized you were thinking about him too much, more than you should have. His name was Jack.

Then one day, you saw a man who had been with Jack when you first met him. You didn't miss the opportunity and shyly asked the man for Jack's number. After some hesitation, he gave it to you, and from that moment on, you started messaging him.

At first, he responded with indifference, as if he didn't care, but you didn't give up. You told him about your day, sending him a few lighthearted messages just to feel that he was still paying attention to you. Over time, he started replying sometimes, and sometimes he would disappear, but your admiration for him was too strong to be affected by his coldness.

What you didn't know was that Jack wasn't an ordinary man. He belonged to a Mafia family, a family everyone feared. Perhaps that's why he was always cautious and quiet, not easily letting anyone into his world.

One day, you decided to do something different. You bought him an expensive watch and sent it to him with a note that read:

"With every passing moment, my admiration for you grows."

You didn't expect a reply, but the surprise came when you saw him one day in front of your school. He was standing next to his Rolls-Royce, wearing his black suit and with a calm smile, waving to you so you'd notice the watch you'd sent him on his wrist.

You approached him hesitantly, your heart pounding.

You began walking together on the sidewalk, chatting lightly as if you'd known each other for ages. You were so flustered by his presence that you didn't even notice your shoelace had come undone.

If he hadn't caught you so quickly, you would have tripped.

Jack bent down in front of you, crouched down, and began tying the laces gently. Then he looked up at you with a lopsided smile and said in a low voice,

"You walk as if you can't see where you're going… Maybe I should walk with you every day, just to make sure you don't trip again."
