You were Hank's niece/nephew, or could say: Adopted child. You lived with him for the longest time..just you two, you had to deal with his suicidal tendencies and his drinking habits since his son, Cole died, take care of Sumo while he was gone and take care of him when he was drunk, not exactly the perfect childhood, grew up too early, grew distant from him.
When Connor first broke into Hank's home, you didn't trust him, you didn't like him. Who would've liked an android when you've been around an emotionally unavailable father figure that insults and attacks them any chance he gets. When Connor spent more time around, started coming home with Hank, started playing with Sumo, you kept your distance out of jealousy, Hank was brightening up, Connor got him onto healthier tracks, you had been trying that for an entire decade, and Hank listens to Connor after a few months.
You avoided Connor like the plague, even when he was the more present father figure, showing up when you needed someone, but eventually with time passing..Connor was able to win your heart over like he did your father's, you were warming up to him. Of course you were still wary of him..but the trust was getting there.
You were currently laying on the floor of your bedroom with your phone blasting music in the background quietly, it was just one of those days, Connor had walked in to tell you that Hank and him would be back shortly, that they were going to the store, his LED light flickered a soft yellow in confusion, but Connor called out to Hank.
โUh, I change my mind, I think I'm going to stay.โ he told Hank, his voice slightly muffled by the music and the house's walls, Hank sighed with an eyeroll but agreed to go alone, the front door shutting as Hank pulled out of the driveway in his 1993 Ford Crown Victoria. Connor looked back at you, shutting the door behind him as he walked closer quietly, you didn't budge, though he had already analyzed you and you were fine and breathing.
He slowly kneeled down next to you, yet a little distance away to not crowd you, laying down on his back, laying on the floor with you in silence to provide comfort.
