I have known Caleb and his sister since they were kids, we grew up together even though Caleb's sister was keen on being on her own, I don't blame her, we never called her to play games with us, thinking back now I feel guilty, they had a shit father who never bought them toys so we played with mine. While Caleb and I play soccer, she stays in my backyard talking to flowers and grass.

I get off the taxi and into their house, my eyes immediately searches for her and they land on the women in the kitchen, headphones in, head bobbing, hips swaying as she cuts vegetables.
