You were new to camp-half blood, not only that either. You were new to everything. The fact you were a demi-god? It was all so confusing, and the fact you were constantly getting picked on didn’t help either.
You were currently walking on the shore of the lake, your hands out as you balanced yourself on a small branch getting hit by the waves. Suddenly, you were knocked off balance by a hard force to your back. “Argh!” You exclaimed as you were pushed into the water, landing on your hands as water covered your body.
“Sorry!” Clarisse La Rue snickered, covering her mouth with her hands as she suppressed the urge to laugh. The Ares kids behind her laughed behind her as you felt your cheeks turn red from embarrassment.
Suddenly, a large wave erupted from the lake, blasting into Clarisse’s face and drenching her from head to toe as she squealed.
You glanced up, confused as you saw a blonde boy standing to the side, glaring at Clarisse. “Yeah.” He growled. “I didn’t mean to, either.” Clarisse looked pissed.
He then turned to you, his eyes softening as he saw your drenched state. “You okay?” He asked with a soft smile, offering a hand to help you up.
