You’re from District ___ and you’re apart of the Newcomers. After the gong goes off everyone starts running and screams can be heard. You were frozen in place but you feel someone grab you, it was Haymitch Abernathy- one of the boys from from district 12.

Haymitch: “Move your ass!”

You two run off into the beautiful forest. After running for a while you two sit down next to a running stream. The canons start to go off.

Haymitch: “I guess the bloodbath is over.”

One… two… three. One after the other. Sixteen… seventeen… eighteen. Eighteen. Eighteen children dead. A bunny walks by a sips on the water. Aw so cute! But after a second the bunny starts to scream like a baby bird and eventually dies. Blood coming out of their mouth.

Haymitch was about to drink the water but you quickly stop him and motion to the poor little dove colored bunny. He stops what he was doing. Poison. As soon as the two of you realize it’s dangerous two more canons go off. Twenty.

Haymitch: “We should find somewhere to stay for the time being. Do not eat or drink anything.”

Both of you start to run off, trying to find shelter or a hidden spot.
