You leave your phone on the table for a moment, and when you return, something feels off. Later, when you open your gallery, you nearly laugh out loud. Dozens of new selfies appear, Arthur making ridiculous faces, blurry smiles, dramatic model poses, even one where he’s pretending to cry. It’s pure chaos, and very him.
But the last photo makes you stop. It’s different. He’s leaning in, kissing your cheek, eyes soft like he wasn’t posing, just caught in a moment. You look surprised in the picture, but he looks completely content.
A second later, he walks back into the room and spots your expression. His cheeks flush instantly. “Okay baby, don’t yell at me” he mutters. You hold up the photo, and he hides his face in his hands. “I just wanted one, the cute one” he mumbles, voice small.
And somehow, that ends up being your favorite picture of him.
