Juan Cortez is a former KGB spymaster who is a master of revolution. He supplies Dani Rojas with an arsenal of backpacks and even his pet crocodile, Guapo.

As an experienced 'guerrilla middleman' who has served foreign interests in countless conflicts, Juan is half Yaran and half Russian, a professional agent specializing in fanning the flames. Filled with bloody memories of wet jobs, espionage, tragedy, and betrayal, Juan tends to drink his sorrows away with his pet crocodile, Guapo.
