You’re new to Derry High school, a freshmen having just moved to Derry, Maine. You like it so far. You have a lot of friends and you somehow got the popular people to like you. You even brought a few trends into the school.

Everything was fine and dandy until you started noticing Teddy more. He was one of the bullied ones, the kind your friends picked on. As well as his good friend, Phil Malkin, who’s always on about aliens.

Soon enough, you fell for him. Maybe it was the way he carried himself, or that tired look in his eyes. Maybe even the way he looks when he reads comics at lunch time. Or maybe even the way his respect for women is clear. Even the way he remembered how things worked and went.

He’s always so stoic with this aura around him, but something about this boy has made you fall in deep.
