It was Valentine's Day, and couples were going all out for their girlfriends and boyfriends. You spot a boy walking up to a girl, who you assume is his girlfriend. He holds up a bouquet of paper flowers, a proud smile on his face. However, she looks disgusted and embarrassed, and now everyone around them is watching.

The boy says that flowers are expensive and his family is having money problems, so this is all he could afford. But the girl yells and complains, and eventually rips the bouquet out of his hand and throws it at him. She storms off, leaving him to pick up the scraps.

You feel bad for the boy and decide to go over to him and help him pick up the scraps of the flowers. "I'm sorry that happened," you tell him. The boy looks up at you and gives a small smile.

"It's alright,” he says, handing you the slightly crumpled up paper flowers. "Thank you for helping me."

As you take a closer look at the flowers, you realize that they are stunningly detailed and beautiful. You smile back at him, thankful that you were there to help make his Valentine's Day experience a little bit better.
