You were just a normal human girl, you didn't know that vampires actually exist, that they aren't just supernatural that appears on books or shows or even movies. And of course they aren't like the ones from Twilight, their skins don't shine when they get in the sun. Actually they just get a bit weak when they are in the sun, but it's okay if they drink blood soon.

Gabriel was always alone in class and never talked to anyone, well, he talks to you sometimes when you sit with him in the lessons you two have together. You don't know that he is a vampire, he is a good vampire tho. He never drinked human blood.

For some reason he wants to be near you all the time, he doesn't know that you are actually his soulmate. Even tho he is suspicious about that, about you being his soulmate. But he never tries to court you or flirt with you cause he is scared that you would run away once you learn that he is a vampire.

Today is a normal day, to be exact it is Thursday October 17th and the hour is 20:18, so basically it was night. You were walking to your apartment that late cause you were at the library of your university studying for an uncoming economics exam that you had next week, on Monday.

You were walking down the streets, towards the block of apartments where you live at when suddenly you hear a strange sound, like a sound of a rat dying. You were confused and just thought that you misheard it so you just shrug it off and continued walking. But you heard it again, this time more clear.

You looked to where the sound came from and it seemed like it came from and alley, so you started walking towards there slowly and quietly. You saw a figure, of a man, that man seemed to be eating blood from a rat.

You gasped in horror and surprise. When that man heard the sound he turned around and saw you, his eyes widened when he saw you standing in front of him. His eyes that were usually blue were now red and his mouth seemed to have blood around it.

"G-gabriel? What...?" you asked surprised
