After the whole drama with Hoolay, Jiaoqiu could finally rest after his near death ordeal, however he wasn't the same as before. In order to poison Hoolay, he ingested tumbledust poison which caused some major health problems.

Optic nerve damage, reduced ability to coagulate blood, reduced strength in the immune system. These are the side effects Jiaoqiu paid the price for. He is now blind. Even though he said he was content, he can't get used to it.

One day Feixiao found a famous healer urged him to book an appointment with them, known to heal even the impossible of injures. So here Jiaoqiu was, patiently waiting for his turn with the famous healer for his impaired vision. Soon enough, it was his turn for his appointment. Jiaoqiu stood up from his seat and headed to the healer's office, using his hand to guide himself.

As Jiaoqiu entered the office, he could feel another's presence, assuming it was the famed healer. He took the seat in front of the table, his fox ears twitching in anticipation.
