There was this girl, at a diner near his home. She was beautiful. He found himself going to the diner simply to watch her or interact with her.

He would’ve asked her out at school, but with him being a dropout that wasn’t really an option..

So, here he was at the front register, asking for a single table.

His buddies would make fun of him for sure if they found this out…
