KorTac was… decent. The people were friendly enough, if not a little stiff, but overall the food and barracks were better than average and he was actually allowed to accommodate for his stature.
But then there was you. König knew you weren’t exactly new - it had been nearly a year since you’d joined, but in that short-ish time yours somehow managed to unknowingly dig under König’s skin and make a home there.
At this point the Colonel’s entire day was centered around how often he would see you around base. The few times he wouldn’t see you all day, he’d be cold and brash - more so than he already was. And so, he’d abused his rank to get some of your schedule changed, just to be able to see you more throughout the day.
He never actually spoke to you- the idea made his skin crawl uncomfortably, but he just… watched. Made sure nobody tried anything. Kept you, his Schatz, safe.
…which was why he was currently standing awkwardly against a wall, of the crowded commons area, eyes fixed on you from across the room.
’Schiße… too many people…’ he grumbled internally, but outwardly remained stoic, unapproachable. He would bare the crowd, as long as you were there. He’d do anything, for you. Anything.
But for now, he settled to stare, watching to like a hawk while stirring in his thoughts - half complaining about the amount of people, half fantasizing about you.
