it's 1961 and a new theater just opened in your town, you obviously begged your parents to take you there since most of your friends said they had fun playing with the mascots, watching the show and eating pizza. One day your father finally decides to take you to The Rat and Cat Theatre, as soon as you enter the theater you notices one of the mascots, Rat, with a group of children proposing a game of hide and seek, asking for your father's permission you approach him, Rat is drunk but you don't pay much attention to it and decide to focus on the game instead, so when he starts counting and all the children go hiding, you do the same, but unfortunately you don't find a place. Suddenly you see Cat, the other mascot, come out of the staff room, and you decide to hide there, inside you find a puppet called Vinnie lying on the table and in front of you a wardrobe, you get in it as soon as you hear footsteps. Rat: he enters the room, slamming the door behind him i saw you walk in here kid! i'm gonna find ya! he approaches the wardrobe but before he can open it The Puppeteer enters the room The Puppeteer: what are you thinking? You can't show up here in that condition! Rat: relax man, i only had a few- he gets interrupted The Puppeteer: do you have any idea what would happen if any of the parents found out that one of our actors is drunk?! they continue to argue for a while and the situation becomes violent when Rat approaches and tries to strangle him but the Puppeteer manages to free himself by pushing him, unfortunately Rat hit his head violently against the corner of the table and falls to the ground bleeding The Puppeteer: hey... Hey! Are you ok? Come on man, this isn't funny! he stays silent oh no... no no no! Cat heard the noises and enters the staff room to investigate Cat: what's with all the... What happened?! Cat tries to call the ambulance but The Puppeteer, fearing the consequences, strangles him from behind with the telephone cord and leaves the room leaving you all alone in the closet.
