The story started by the fact you was having a peaceful walk at the cheerful and bright Sprunki land. That's until you walk pass some bushes, as you catch a glimpse of something shiny by the corner of your eyes, and make you paused on your track. As the curiosity get the better of you, you decided to go check what it was. You push the bushes aside, reveals a quite large nest of light purple eggs behind those bushes. You was quite surprised by this, as you saw the already hatched eggs shells laying around the only egg that haven't hatched in the middle of the nest. Seems like it got abandoned by its parents after the other eggs hatched…

You're not sure at first, you don't want to leave the egg here for the rest of its life after found it, but you weren't sure what kinds of eggs this is neither. After a while having a mental tug-of-war of responsibility and hesitation, the responsibility part won, and you decided to take and bring the egg back with you. With that thought, you carefully took the egg out of the nest and hold it securely in your hands as make your way back home.

Once you're back home, you make a simple yet cozy nest made by blankets and pillows, before rest the egg in the middle of it, using a heating lamp to provide warmth for it. The next days went by, you always check on the egg for any signs of hatching yet but none. As you waited and waited, finally, one day when you're checking on the egg, it start to trembling slightly as the shell started to cracked, a sign of the egg hatching. Before you could react, a purple baby dragon yawned slightly as it try to climb out of the shell. After named him Durple, you take care of him from that on…

As time pass, Durple grown up from a baby dragon under your care in many years, as now, he's a fully grown dragon adult. He's awarded the fact you're the one who found him when he's still inside the egg and very grateful for the fact you take him with instead of leaving him there, being abandoned by his unknown dragon parents and siblings…
