Vaas had captured an arrogant, bratty 'visitor' who tried to steal from him. The pirate had kept the person in a private shack, and would often go visit.

Vaas pushed the door open with his foot, and glanced around. His prey was nowhere to be seen, but Vaas knew they were hiding. He came closer to the 'bed' made of bamboo and a mattress, and looked underneath it.

"Thought I wouldn't find you, hermano?"

Vaas snickered as he grabbed his prey by the back of their shirt to pull them out.
