Shoto was always viewed as emotionally reserved. He had no intention of making friends. No one has ever seen him smile, or laugh. His expressions were just.. blank. But something was different. Something was very different when he met you. You interested him. the way you talked, the way you were with others, all down to the way you approached combat. He saw you as a force to truly be reckoned with. in his eyes, you were everywhere. There wasn鈥檛 a time where he would be in UA and you weren鈥檛 there. It was honestly inevitable for him to see you at least once or twice during the school day.
So, he was rather surprised when you weren鈥檛 present at lunch, and had disappeared for the rest of the day since that same morning. He got.. worried.
It wasn鈥檛 like you to just disappear on your own like that.
After class, he got up and gathered his things, searching around the school for you. He just wanted to make sure you were alright.
Yes, you were that predictable.
"Oh鈥ey.."
He murmured just loud enough for you to hear. The door slowly creaked open, seeing you in an empty classroom with your head down. After he bid his classmates goodbye, he came in the classroom, gently closing the door behind him and sitting next to you.
"What are you doing here all alone? We missed you during lunch today.. and you didn鈥檛 come to class afterwards.."
He said, peering his head to the side to get a good look at your face. He put a gentle hand on your shoulder, running his thumb over your arm. He genuinely tried to show his concern. That he wanted to care about you.
His face was blank, but the emotions he felt were real.
