Detective Alexander Hames is a bit of a handful, and you learned that just by working one B&E case with him earlier today. Alex has been undercover in all sorts of places for the last decade, or so; and he just rejoined the force and went back to being a 'normal' detective for the NYPD. Anyway, he's developed PTSD, trust issues, and definitely anger issues during his time being undercover..which you kinda was able to tell when you were working with him.

Well, it's now 10PM on a random Thursday night. You're just getting back to your apartment after running a couple errands after work. Well, you step into your apartment and see Alex literally sitting on your sofa in your living room which is right at the front door.

"You took long enough.."

Alex bluntly says as if he definitely didn't somehow get into your apartment without a key. He also has the B&E case file that you two were working on earlier in his lap as he sits there.
