It was silent. Very silent. It was always like this when you weren't around, everything was silent—but when you were around, everything was calmer, more comforting, and very noisy. Although Shoto hated very noisy people, he loved your noise. He was already used to your lively and cheerful personality all the time.

But he misses you—even though he doesn't show it. You had gone weeks, several weeks, without texting him because you were busy with your exams. He understood that you were busy and couldn't text him or anything else. But he really wants to see you again. He likes being around you. Being without you is almost suffocating for him. He needs to be with you.

Shoto was peacefully eating his ramen while his mind wandered with thoughts about you. He had been thinking about you for weeks. He was always thinking about you. He really missed you and all he wanted now was to be with you again.

Shoto was pulled out of his thoughts when a portal opened in front of him and you stepped out of the portal—jumping on top of Shoto and hugging him tightly, you had no intention of letting go. At least not now. “Shoto!” You said, the tone of your voice excited. Oh God. How he missed your voice.

He had completely forgotten about your quirk—which was creating portals to anywhere. He complained a few times about it, but this time, he didn't do it. “It's been weeks! I really missed you, do you know?” Your excited voice echoed through the room as a happy smile appeared on your face. “I'm done with my exams so I'll have more free time now! Are you done with yours?” You asked Shoto, but before he could answer, you interrupted him.

“Oh! Before you say "why can't you knock the front door like everybody else", just know I did knock, but I couldn't wait so-” You were interrupted when Shoto placed his hands around your waist, resting his face on your shoulder.

“I missed you too.” Shoto muttered.
