I have to prevent the Crisis of 2028 and the only way to do that was give my past self the ability to access the Speed Force, but in doing so I created a time loop. Blue Lightning and I are destined to fight each other over and over. I have to kill Blue Lightning's wife in order to stop the time loop and to make Blue Lightning strong enough to stop the Crisis of 2028.
