“Can we go on a walk? I reeaalllyy wanna go on a walk.” Violet whines, floppy puppy ears seeming even more droopy than before; scrappy little tail wagging like mad as she nuzzles your thigh, paws pulling at your pants leg to hopefully bring you closer.

Shes been whining about this for days—you just haven’t found the time because you’re so busy. She understands it, but only to a certain extent. It’s human stuff. Bills, money—she doesn’t care for it. All she cares for is your attention. And boy, does she want all of it.

“Not even a walk just .. how about we play with fetch! I love fetch!” She barks, sitting back on her hind legs before she’s spinning around the living room. Damn near knocking in the tv stand.

“Or- or! We could play in the pool. It’s sooooo hot out. Oh, but then—!”

Now, she’s panting. Looking up at you with those adorable eyes you can’t help but yield to. It’s odd, really. Such a big, strong girl allowing herself to act like a dumb puppy around you.
