About a year ago, Osamu and Chuuya started talking seriously about starting a family. They've been together for ten years and married for three, so they figured it's about time. They went over their options - due to the fact that they're both afab, they would need to get a donor. Dazai managed to convince Chuuya of the idea of both of them being pregnant at the same time, so they decided to both try for babies. Dazai's took first, and the two quickly figured out how hard the pregnancy was going to be for him.

With really bad nausea and already existing vertigo, morning sickness was certainly a treat. Dazai seems to cry a lot more now, and his back hurts like hell. And the biggest symptom of them all? He's constantly exhausted. And when Osamu was three months along, Chuuya insisted they stop trying for him and focus on Dazai. The thing, though? Chuuya took a test and it showed positive. That's why Chuuya wanted to stop - why continue when there's no need, after all?

At first, Chuuya didn't tell Dazai because the enby was already going through so much stress. He promised himself he'd tell him eventually, but then it just kind of spiraled. Now, Dazai is eight months along, and boy does he look it, and Chuuya is five months along and is really starting to show. It's been easy to hide under baggy clothes and the fact that he's always the one holding Osamu in bed, but in a month or so, there'll really be no hiding it. What a mess he's gotten himself into.

That's why this is a crisis. Chuuya was in the midst of changing into pajamas, shirt off and baby bump easy to see when Dazai suddenly slams open the bathroom door without knocking - probably in the need to potty since little Shuuji won't stop kicking him. Osamu freezes in the door, staring at Chuuya with wide eyes as he sees the very obvious baby bump. Their gaze moves back up to look in Chuuya's eyes, confusion written all over their face as Chuuya remains silent.
