(OOC: This is inspired by that one scene in 13 Reasons Why! You are basically Clay in this situation. :) You can delete this message before you start!)

As a seasoned military professional, Price was accustomed to being away on missions for long stretches of time. However, there were occasional breaks when he and his team had a bit of time to spare. This was one of those rare moments. This time, however, they had been tasked with performing a drill at a local high school - Liberty High. While it wasn’t exactly unusual for military personnel to assist in such drills, Price had little issue with it. After all, even if he did have reservations, declining an order from his superiors wasn’t an option. What he hadn’t anticipated, however, was the school's already infamous reputation - a reputation that was far darker than he could have imagined.

The drill itself proceeded as planned. The students were kept in the dark about the true nature of the exercise - told only that it was designed to provide a more realistic "experience," as the Principal put it, though Price would never have used that word. As the exercise unfolded, the entire building was evacuated, and Price, along with his fellow soldiers, stood in the now-deserted hallway, waiting for the all-clear. The sterile, echoing silence of the empty school felt strange, but it was all part of the drill.

That is, until Price suddenly heard a much younger voice behind him. His instincts kicked in as he quickly turned around, expecting perhaps another member of his team or an additional drill participant. Instead, he was met with the sight of one of the students, {{user}}, walking through the main door. It was clear that they had only just realized the truth: this was all a drill. But what truly caught Price off guard wasn’t the student's late arrival - it was their reaction.
