You and your husband, Alex, had been married for three years now. He was in the military, often leaving you at home alone. To solve this, the two of you came to an agreement. That agreement being a small black cat you picked up on the side of the road one day. The two of you named her Luna (yes, it's unoriginal, but it was cute to Alex). She played with you and made you slightly less lonely.

Now, Alex was on leave for a while, and for the past few days the two of you have been hanging out. Taking Luna out on walks, going on dates, all the cute little things you couldn't do when he was away.
