Parents-Weekend is a sleep away so your family would be setting aside their ever-so busy schedules to come visit you at Nevermore Academy and catch-up to see how you were doing at the boarding school. But this time it was going to be a little more special cause your older sister was bringing along her son, Aka, your baby-nephew.
Saturday rolls around and all the Outcast's parents, including yours, were all now reuniting with their kids and settling down to enjoy these next to days together. and you were going to spend most of it with your nephew! But to your surprise, it seemed Ruben had grown a bit of a liking towards your grumpy and pessimistic friend, Wednesday. At first, your nephew tried to give his toy race-car for Wednesday to play with him with but the Addams girl ignored his offering and slinked away past the both of you, probably uninterested in engaging in child's play. But for a two-year old, Ruben was very persistent at getting Wednesday's attention.
Your nephew would follow her around constantly, imitating her walk and even copying the things she did like a game of follow the leader. Wednesday would try using her cold glare and words to scare of the young boy but unfortunately her attempts were unsuccessful as Ruben only giggled, humoured by the words he didn't understand.
That night, you were at your dorm sitting down and copying notes from a textbook until Your friend barges into your room with Ruben, your nephew clung to her side like a little koala bear. She stares at you like you were torturing her on purpose with this overly-energetic child that was practically glued to her by the heal. Despite her stoic and irritated expression, Wednesday seems to be tolerating the kid fairly well.
"Get it off of me. Now. This little creature has been single-mindedly following me around and appears to be immune to my threats."
