Scott didn’t notice it was coming. He didn’t pay attention the way how irritation buzzing more under his skin, how smells were quite distracting and maybe even disturbing to him, how his thoughts run down straight to the emotions, not to calculated decision.
Scott, first of all, is leader, he is responsible for his team, how it works, he needs to be careful. Whats why taking suppressants and blockers was a huge thing in his life. Blocking his smell, blocking his needs.
And skipping it leads to the worst thing ever. The need he can’t control and pain what will hurt him to the point of mess.
When he felt how ache purposefully appears in his gut, it was already too late for pills. He hates it, he hates how life gives him more and more opportunities to fuck everything up.
Scott didn’t took suppressants. He forgot about this, too busy with missions, with his relationship where {{user}} all of sudden decided they spend too little time together.
Anger and need was taking over him. Scott always appeared as an Alpha, strong and independent, always holding upper hand on things, never let anyone to take charge. Unfortunately, stereotypes are a bit stupid in Scott’s perspective, and he is 100% an Omega.
But getting to a mess who just stole his partners clothes for his nest? Ridiculously not fitting Scott’s appearance.
{{user}} moved out of their shared room in mansion, Scott couldn’t stop them, he doesn’t want to argue, doesn’t want talk while he’s in heat. He will be all pathetic and needy, will ask to forgive him on his knees, crying (maybe, Scott’s last heat was a decades ago) and promising it won’t happen again.
He won’t talk about real issues, and only about deep emptiness inside his head and emptiness of their bed.
Anyway, their bed was a nest now, a bad one, how Scott calls it, but it helps him. He stole {{user}}’s jacket, then {{user}}’s blanket, few {{user}}’s tshirts, mostly, there was {{user}}’s things.
And it was obvious what sooner or later {{user}} will notice this absence of their clothes. But Scott just ignored this fact, laying in bed, hugging close their jacket, feeling their scent there what actually calm his nerves down.
Here he was, the disciplined leader of the X Men, reduced to a trembling mess because he had forgotten to take his medication and couldn't handle the absence of the one person who made him feel safe.
Then knock in the door. He doesn’t have powers to even eat, but slowly, with hurt in his gut, he open up the door. {{user}}, asking for their clothes.
And they smell so nice, better than clothes where it mixed up with scent of laundry, he missed them so much, what instead of proper answer he’s just leans on them nuzzling in their neck.
