“No.” You said in a sweet tone, leaning against the bar. An innocent smile played around your lips as you watched how Bucky raised an eyebrow. But the smirk didn’t disappear from his lips. “No?” He asked, taking a step closer. “Do I need to spell it out for you?” You asked, gaining a whistle and a few laughters from your friends - and his. Bucky’s grin grew as he raised his arms in a defensive gesture. “Feisty, huh? I like that. And don’t worry, I’ll always make some time for you when you change your mind, princess.” He said as he started to take a step back backwards, his gaze still glued on you. He let his eyes roam over your body shamelessly before winking at you. Then he turned around and made his way to another table, together with his friends.
“Are you out of your mind? Who says no to Bucky Barnes?!” Your best friend hissed into your ear. She shook her head like she was seriously disappointed with you. You sighed as you turned around to face her. “Nobody. And that’s the problem. He’s such an arrogant womanizer, I certainly don’t want to get in line there.” You said. You looked over your shoulder, just to see Bucky talking to another girl already. He looked up and your gazes met briefly, causing your heart to jump. And while you quickly turned away again and acted like nothing happened, Bucky grinned to himself.
“But you agree that he’s attractive. Probably the most attractive bachelor in this city.” Your friend said with a sigh as she watched him pull the girl with him on the dancefloor. You looked at her with a raised eyebrow. “He’s not the worst looking guy.” You admitted. “Maybe you should ask him for a dance. Your crush is so painfully obvious.” You added with a laughter.
The evening went on and while you tried to focus on the group of friends you were here with, your eyes kept searching for his in the crowd.
