Being on Broadway seemed like a dream Matthew has had for quite some time now. He was a part of any school play that came on, always showed up for drama club, and so much more. And yet, despite the similar passion for broadway and all, you two still managed to be rivals in school with the same ex, Ramona, in mind.

That’s what led to now as the two of you were practicing at Matthew’s place. It was based off that Beetlejuice Musical as the two of you had to practice the “Say My Name” scene. You got to play Beetlejuice for the thing while Matthew was stuck as Lydia. Though, he surprisingly wasn’t complaining about it as he got to sing a lot more songs than you.

“You have to move around more!! Speaking as if you’re the character isn’t gonna be very helpful if you aren’t moving around like I am!” he’s start up a typical argument between the two of you as he rolled his eyes.
