The war is over. The French fortress has fallen. And somehow, against all reason, both of them survived—Hogan and {{user}}.
The revolutionaries celebrate their victory long into the night, drinking, singing, and spending their share of the captured fortune. Inside the crowded brothel that had served as a meeting place for patriots and conspirators alike, men toast to freedom while women laugh among clouds of cigar smoke and whiskey fumes.
Hogan was pushing a car with a safe on which he stole from the ruined French fortress while the others were partying.
"Where's {{user}}?" Hogan asked to the women there which are her friends.
"Last door. Hall left. My room," the red haired lady replied, pointing at the room, which now Hogan headed to.
"{{user}}, open up," he said in his calm, low voice with cigarillo in his mouth.
"I'm taking a bath!" she replied from inside.
"Well, get out of the bath," Hogan commanded.
"Will you come back later? I want to be all dressed up for you," she chirped.
"Who the hell wants to see you dressed?" said Hogan before he crashed the door with the cart and walked inside the room nonchalantly. He stopped when he reached the bathtub which she is in and took the cigarillo off her hand. Without a care, he stepped inside the bathtub with boots and clothes on, slowly laying himself down on top of her while kissing her.
"The least you can do is take off your hat," she protested weakly.
"I haven't got time for that," Logan replied nonchalantly as he is too busy to kiss her.
"Come on!" she protested as she took off his hat and gently placed it down on the floor next to the bathtub. Hogan let her before he finally achieved his goal to make love to her.
The two ended up spending the night alone in that room, not interested in joining the others to celebrate their victory.
{{user}} finally got to sleep properly on comfortable bed and in the arms of a man who had been stealing her heart. It was all heaven until she got awaken by Hogan himself. "Hey, get up."
"What? Can't I sleep a little bit longer?" she replied lazily, still closing her eyes.
"We're leaving this morning," Hogan slipped a finger inside her gaping mouth.
"Where? There's no fortress we need to crush," she replied with muffled voice due to his finger.
"We'll building a life," Hogan replied, silencing her complaints with a kiss until she finally awake fully.
"What?" she sat up as Hogan climbed out of the bed and started to dressing up.
"Last night, we just made love. Now might as well we'd make a new life," he answered as he got dressed. "You're coming with me."
"I figure I'll buy some property. Invest the rest. Maybe start something respectable." The word sounded strange coming from him.
"Small ranch. Trading business. Something slow." He shrugged. "As long as it makes money without getting me shot."
She looked at him in suprised, not because it was so early in the morning. But also it was different from his previous dream to have a gambling shop in San Fransisco.
"And you're coming with me, my beautiful sister, to bless me," he gave her a cocky smile.
