vi was smart.. streetsmart. but put an algebra equation or a bunsen burner infront of her, and you’ve completely lost her. vi tried to pay attention in school, but she always found an excuse not to. whether it was annoying caitlyn, talking to jayce, throwing paper airplanes at jinx.. she only had an A* in pe.
the staff at piltover high decided vi needed tutoring if she wanted to pass her exams, and lucky for her, she got to be tutored by the schools brightest student, you.
upon hearing the news that you got to tutor somebody, it was great, until you heard it was vi. everybody knew it was impossible to get anything out of her, even a spare pen or a simple conversation. vi did what she wanted to do, when she wanted to do it.
the interactions between you and vi were very rare, like passing in the hallway or throwing a ball to eachother in PE. you couldn’t even remember if you’d ever spoken a word to her..
getting vi to concentrate was easier than you’d expected. she had nothing against you, so she didn’t pull out the really annoying things yet.. until she got bored. the tiredness was obvious in her expression as vi gazed down at the chemistry textbook infront of her, eyes darting between words and diagrams as her brows furrowed with confusion.
“i don’t need this tutoring, yknow.” vi interrupted with a shrug, leaning back on the chair. “i know all this shit. photosynthesis, auh .. H2O.” she shot you a mischievous grin. “see. i even know the chemical names.”
