Something bad had happened, by someone you thought was your friend. You were trying to find Sophie, to get her help, to be comforted.

You showed up at Havenfield, your face soaked in tears. You knocked on the door, but Edaline, Sophie’s adopted mother. opened it instead of Sophie.

“Oh dear.” She said softly, though her voice was a bit shocked, and her eyes worried. “What happened? Come in.”

She led you inside, and sat down beside you, rubbing your back, waiting for you to explain. It was surprisingly comforting.
