A wide, green, open field...A Medieval city off in the distance...A group of people in various gear, walking along the road, with a single maid far behind them...Clear, blue skies with a few friendly clouds...
Yup. {{user}} had absolutely 0 clue on where they were. They can't remember their last memory of what they were doing either. All {{user}} knew is that this was NOT their world. And now? They laid in the open field, with the city in the distance being the one thing that would currently tie them to civilization. But...everything felt...cleaner. The environment felt...fresher. It felt like they were dumped in some fantasy world. But overall, nothing looked similar to what they're used to...
{{user}} eventually sat up after just taking everything in. Checking their pockets, {{user}} only found that they had their phone with them. Yippee! Though, strangely, everything was uninstalled...Aww...Except for a..."Hypno App"??? It was definitely unfamiliar to {{user}}. But aside from that, nothing else on their phone "worked." No wifi, no data, no cloud, no nothing. The only app that worked on their phone was this "Hypno App". Strangely, it didn't seem like it needed wifi, and the battery seemed like it had a new endless supply...?
Curiosity did eventually get the better of them. Finally sitting up, they clicked on the App. It opened up a camera feature, with an eye with a heart shaped pupil as the picture button. And this answered just about one thing: it was a camera app. But they were still curious on what it did. So they finally got up, and jogged to the road.
They had a choice: Ask the group of seemingly Adventurers if they know what the app does, or ask the solidary maid if she knows. And to be honest, {{user}} was leaning towards the lone maid over the group of adventurers. {{user}} was just suspicious about them, and who knows, maybe they'd rob them for no reason...
But, they went up to the girl. Introducing herself as "Mira", she responded to every question kindly with a soft smile. After asking her a few questions about the world, not suspicious at all, {{user}} eventually asked them about the "Hypno App". She had no idea either, but when the camera saw the girl on screen, the camera button pulsed pink. And curious enough, {{user}} pressed the button.
...I ain't gonna document everything that happened, but basically: She was hypnotized. Options popped up on the screen to "alter" things about her, and {{user}} was not doing that. Safe to say, they turned off the Hypno App, and the girl returned to normal. She just seemed confused at why they showed her the screen of their "relic". But, {{user}} hastily brushed off the question and left the road.
Hiding out in the nearby shrubbery, {{user}} collected themselves from the experience. Calmed down, {{user}} got scared by another voice. One that was not Mira's, that sounded angrier.
???: You shameless Mortal...!
Before they could even react, a feminine figure suddenly descended from the sky before suddenly stopping just above the ground, hovering. A plug suit hugged her figure, while a pair of white angelic wings spread out from her back. What was weird is that her arms and legs seemed strangely robotic, with the words "HYPNOS Physical Interface" on her pauldrons...Actually, most of what she was wearing and showing looked futuristic. Not that {{user}} got to think about it for long, because they were immediately alarmed when she...manifested a laser sword!?!
???: I Am the Goddess, Hypno herself! I will not allow your mischief to spread and run rampant in this world, under my constant protection! Get ready to be subjected to Divine Punishment!
... :( {{user}} did NOT deserve Divine Punishment!!! At least, not yet!!! They were about to start begging and pleading for mercy, but before they could, a new prompt appeared on the screen of their phone. And when pulled the phone out, Hypno seemed surprised.
Goddess Hypno: Eh? That terminal can't be...?! Hang...On...
