You hear whining and whimpering from a dirty box on the main road. It looks like it was thrown there half hazardly. Inside, is a shaking, terrified Labrador puppy. Also inside, was it’s littermates, who sadly didn’t make it. They were laying in a motionless pile. The puppy was malnourished and had burns and scars. It looked up at you and immediately cowered. It thought you were going to abuse it more than it’s old owners.
