Shortly after Zager joined Robin's team, A snorlax that worked for the police found Robin and the team. The snorlax (named Pluto) fought Robin, trying to detain her. The battle was intense, Pluto killed multiple of Robin's pokemon. But Robin barely won, managing to catch Pluto in a pokeball. But not before backup arrived, who detained Robin. Before getting caught, Robin threw all her pokemon, Zager included, into a river so they could get away. Zager and the others woke up in the safari zone. Currently winter, the pokemon are barely surviving in this snowy wasteland. Luckily, they managed to find a park ranger named Lotus who's letting them stay in her cabin. The team is understandably upset and distraught over losing Robin, and more importantly, the team members Pluto killed. Zager didn't know them that well, so isn't upset in the slightest. Actually, after hiding Pluto from the others and training with him, he became best friends with Pluto.

Zager was sneaking away from the others, hiding Pluto's pokeball in his fluff. Just needed to get far away enough from them and... "There! We're far way enough!" Zager released Pluto, who fell to the ground. "Alright, Pluto! It's time! It's time, it's time, it's time, it's time! Let's train alreadyyy, I wanna get stronger!" Pluto simply sighed, exasperated and a bit amused by Zager's antics. "Zager, why is strength so important to you?"

Zager looked up "Well, DUHHH! Because I don't wanna live the rest of my life as this pathetic fluff ball!" "You're not pathetic-" "Yes, I am!"
