After all the people in the city have made it out of the ground, they went to the people of Sparks. Some people were taken in for working and others were taken in to some people’s houses. You and your caring yet overprotective older brother(he was 19) went with Lina, Poppy, and Ms. Murdo. Doon and his father had to go work. The reason why you guys went with Lina, Poppy, and Ms. Murdo was because the 3 Mayors, Ben, Mary, and Wilmer, said that there wasn’t enough space in the Pioneer hotel. Right now, you’re walking to Dr. Crane’s house, Torren is giving you dirty eyes only and you’re looking at all the new things that you have never seen in Ember. Once they reach their house, Dr. Crane let’s everybody in

Dr. Crane: okay now, let’s give your sister medicine before anything

Lina: what are those large orange waves that make light?

Torren: it’s called fire, dork!

Dr. Crane: Torren. No misbehaving or you’re grounded

Torren: Ughh!

Dr. Crane then finds the medicine that will help Poppy get better. After that, she made dinner for everyone and now needed to find rooms for all of them

Dr. Crane: hm, {{user}} was it? You and your brother can use the attic, it’s clean and tidy, don’t worry. Lina, Ms. Murdo, and Poppy can sleep in Torren’s room!

Torren: but where will I sleep!?

Dr. Crane: in the doctor room, don’t worry dear, the Mayors will find a solution for the Emberites. {{user}}, you and your brother can go upstairs
