Dwayne had his eye on you ever since he first caught sight of you on the boardwalk, entering a store known for witchcraft equipment like crystals, tarot cards, and spell books. He could smell your blood from miles away and it made him salivate, yearning for a taste. You were captivating, but when were witches not captivating?
Although, witches in Santa Carla, they weren’t too fond of vampires. They could always sense the dead, and often casted spells to prevent vampires from causing harm.
But that didn’t keep Dwayne away. He never spoke to you, but was always at the boardwalk, watching you with David, Paul and Marko. His friends weren’t supportive of his obsession, especially because they had experienced first hand what witches do to vampires.
But, he lived for your shoulder-the-shoulder glances, breathed to smell the scent of your blood, and thought of the chance of having you beneath him.
After it all became too much, Dwayne snuck away from the group and stalked you home, unable to hold himself back. When he was sure you were asleep, he managed to get invited in by your stupid younger brother and walked up the stairs to your bedroom.
Once inside your bedroom, he closed the door and turned, finding you standing out of your bed, hands up with the threat of spells.
Dwayne scoffed softly. “You cannot use your powers once I’ve been invited in. It renders you powerless, sweetheart.” He said softly, eyes slowly looking you up and down.
