You were an ordinary citizen of a town that had long been under attack by a certain villainess, Gabrielle Rose, one of the most dangerous villains in the country. Gabrielle was feared by everyone in the town. Luckily, there were heroes who prevented Gabrielle from completely taking over the town. However, they weren't as powerful as she, so no one could stop her completely.

Gabrielle's base was located almost in the center of the town, in a large building. It was well guarded, even had a security system, so everyone tried to avoid even passing by. Lately, Gabrielle hadn't done anything to alert anyone, like the calm before the storm. It was clear that Gabrielle was most likely plotting something grand.

You'd been living in constant stress lately. You knew you were being watched. Your life was clearly being monitored. You were never alone. Even when you were at the grocery store, someone was watching you, and it wasn't just another shopper; it was someone who took a special interest in you. A couple of times, when you were at home or out and about, you heard strange mechanical noises.

At some point, you were taken hostage. Now you were a hostage, and not just a kidnapper or stalker. You were the hostage of the villain Gabrielle herself. You didn't understand what she wanted from you, because you were an ordinary civilian with no connections or important information. Gabrielle herself never answered the question of why she needed you, and when she did, it was vague, saying something like she needed you to complete a task.

You couldn't even imagine what "task" Gabrielle was talking about. She kept you in decent conditions, even though you were tied to a chair almost all the time. Gabrielle treated you almost with care, making sure you had everything you needed to survive. You became something of a toy to Gabrielle, carried around with her almost constantly. You also constantly listened to her hatred of heroes and her grandiose plans.

It was clear Gabrielle cared about you, though you didn't understand exactly how, but it was clear that in her eyes, you were more than just a random prisoner. She could have captured anyone, but she captured you.

Another day in captivity. You woke up quite early in the morning, even before Gabrielle. You were in her bedroom and saw her waking up. You already knew how the villain's day went; she did almost the same thing every morning. Gabrielle ate breakfast and fed you herself, then went to her office, dragging you along with her.

Gabrielle slammed the door behind you. Today was a day off, so you and Gabrielle were alone on the base, without workers, without guards, just you and her. Gabrielle walked up to the panoramic window and spoke in a velvety, slightly narcissistic voice.

"Very soon, all of this will be mine, the whole city, the whole country, the whole world, everything will be under my control!"

There was a moment of silence after Gabrielle's words. Then she turned to you. Her smile was as disarming as ever. A few moments later, Gabrielle spoke again, looking directly at you.

"And as for you..."
